To the Brave Hands that Catch Life

To the nurses and midwives working in the clinics tucked between dusty roads and village footpaths, in the hospitals where the power flickers and supplies run thin—We see you.We honor you.We thank you.

Even when the tools are missing, you are there.Even when the roads are long and the nights longer, you are there. You rise with the sun and sometimes don’t sleep before the next. You show up not just with your skills, but with your heart. And that is what saves lives.

You are the lifeline for mothers who walk miles to be seen. You are the voice of calm in rooms filled with pain and hope. You are not just caregivers—you are warriors of compassion.

Your work is sacred.Your calling is powerful. And though the world may not always see the quiet miracles you perform,we see you.And we are lifting you up.

Please don’t forget—you are not alone. There is a world of people standing beside you, grateful for your courage, working toward better support, more resources, more justice for you and the women you serve.

So today, take a breath.Place your hand on your heart. And remember this:

You are a light. And the light you give will never be forgotten.

With deepest respect and unwavering gratitude,Desert Sage Wellness & Lorna Owens
